There\u2019s been another murder on the outskirts of town!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Timothy:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You\u2019re joking, right?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Joseph:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I\u2019m with Tim. There\u2019s no way that there\u2019s another one. We\u2019re already under our eyes in mysteries to solve.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Robert:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I\u2019m not even joking. Do you think I would?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tim:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yeah, I get that.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*Knock on station door*<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Joseph:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Don\u2019t they know we\u2019re working?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Police Officer:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I know how hard you men are working. I\u2019ll get it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*Police officer walks over to station door and looks through peephole*<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Police Officer:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Name and business at the station tonight?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Glen:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Glen Jaran, sir. I\u2019m a detective from Attleboro, Massachusetts. I heard about the slew of murders here and decided that I should come and lend a hand, since, after all, this is a pretty small town.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Police Officer;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ID?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*Glen Jaran hands Police Officer fake ID*<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*Police officer opens door and allows GJ to pass.*<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Joseph:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*grumbles* *yawns* Well, we might as well start reading the brief from the field officer..<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*GJ pulls out (fake) field report, and begins to read*<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">GJ:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unidentified man found dead in cornfield late in the afternoon on Saturday, May 26. No blood identifying the victim or suspects has been found to the present, although there are some DNA on victim\u2019s torso and hip area, indicating that the murderer dragged or carried away the suspect.. *Continues reading*<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tim:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*whispering to Joe* funny. MR usually does her field reports in bullet points.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Joe:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yeah. I noticed that also. Do you think that we\u2019re dealing with a fake?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tim:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I don\u2019t think so. I just saw her finish the paper a couple minutes ago and hand it to Mr. Jaran.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Joe;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I still don\u2019t know\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">GJ:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*Still reading*&#8230; Suspects identified in killing are the following: Leon Franz, Virginia Ernesta, and Laz Monoj.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rob:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hold up- did I hear you just blatantly and randomly name 3 people on a list for \u201csuspects?\u201d Leon Franz was my 12th grade science teacher!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">GJ:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yeah, but that doesn\u2019t mean that he isn\u2019t a killer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*Rob stands up, fists clenched. Tim and Joe jump up and restrain Rob as he starts shouting at GJ*<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rob:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> *shouting* You don\u2019t know anything about teachers! Mr. Franz was the nicest, and kindest person I have ever met to this day!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tim:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Look, Rob. If MR identified him as a suspect, he\u2019s got to be pretty suspicious. Let\u2019s go along with that and we\u2019ll see what happens.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Joe:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yeah. It\u2019s getting late. We should go home to bed and sleep on the field report to think of ideas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rob:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the report, just as a reminder for all of you who were whispering *looks at Joe and Tim* they found fingerprints and footprints on the scene. The footprints were later identified as Work boots, and the DNA found on the victim was identified as Pascal Eli *GJ shudders*- Wait. is it me, or did GJ not say that.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tim:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maybe he just skipped a line by accident.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Joe:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Possibly. Read on.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rob:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although the DNA was identified, Pascal Eli was not found the US database of prior felons or murderers, yet is registered for voting in Attleboro, Massachusetts.- Hey GJ, isn\u2019t that where you\u2019re from?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">GJ:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yeah. Probably some guy that hopped in his car and drove up. Didn\u2019t know anyone with that name, though.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tim:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Okay. Let\u2019s go home to think on this one.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rob:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yeah.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*All four leave, but Rob, Tim, and Joe stick around, waiting for GJ to get in his car and leave*<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Joe:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*whispering* Is it me, or does this dude seem like either he has no idea what he\u2019s doing, or like he\u2019s covering something up.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tim:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You\u2019ve got to be joking. I saw nothing weird about him. *walks to car and leaves*<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rob:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nah. I\u2019m with you. But, just as a piece of advice, go with idea one, because he has no idea what he\u2019s doing. Just look at the field report. My teacher is just too much of a good person to be the murderer. *Walks off to car and leaves*<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Joe:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*Calling after the other two* OK, go ahead and don\u2019t believe me. *Gets in car and leaves*<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*SCENE*<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Scene 2: 10:59 PM, May 26. Glen Jaran\u2019s \u2018House\u2019, Wheldrake, New Hampshire<\/b><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*GJ paces in a nervous fashion*<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">GJ:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How could I possibly have gotten myself into this mess. Somehow I get the idea that if I go to this little tiny town, kill someone, and then pose as a detective on the case, in which they already seem to think that i\u2019m suspicious\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I guess that i\u2019ll just sleep and go back there tomorrow.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*GJ goes to bed and falls asleep*<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*SCENE*<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Scene 3: 8:26 AM, May 27. Police Station, Wheldrake, New Hampshire<\/b><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 4 detectives converge on a small table to continue on the case started last night.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rob:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Have you done any thinking on the case overnight in the morning?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">GJ:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If anything, I may need to see the area where the crime was committed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tim:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">GJ, you know that even we don\u2019t know where the crime was committed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rob:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unless you know, of course.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">GJ:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shudders<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* No, no. I was just hoping that there could be some clues there that could lead to narrowing the suspects down.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tim:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Well, we could invite them to the police station for an interview.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rob:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Or we could look for bystanders.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Joe:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">GJ! Could you be our first bystander?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">GJ;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Expression stone cold<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* No. Why?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rob:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Why Not?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">GJ:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maybe because I wasn\u2019t there.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rob:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But you weren\u2019t on the team at the time of the murder.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">GJ:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But that doesn\u2019t mean that I saw the crime.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tim:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*Pulling Rob away* I don\u2019t think Rob had enough sleep last night. Sorry about him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*Tim and Rob go off to a far corner into a cubicle*<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rob:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Why did you take me over here?!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tim:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*Whispering* Look. You can have opinion, but you can\u2019t show it. I know what you think, because you told me, but he\u2019ll get mad at us if you keep doing this.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rob:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I don\u2019t care what he thinks of me!! He can think any darn thing he wants as long as he listens to what I say.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tim:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He won\u2019t listen to you because you\u2019re essentially blaming him for a murder. That\u2019s not cool. That\u2019s where Rob is. Their eyes are drawn to the man hasty running across the field with a body draped across his back.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Joe:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">pauses and rewinds the video just so that you can see the unidentified man\u2019s face<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* Let\u2019s take a screenshot here and run the picture of his face through the facial recognition software.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rob:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yeah. That\u2019ll be a lead into the heart of the criminal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Joe takes a screenshot and opens the facial recognition software, interting the picture and waiting for the application to turn out a name and face<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Joe:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pascal Eli, identified again. This proves that we know who commited the crime. The criminal was captured, convicted, and sent to death row. The detectives who had solved that case were awarded with the medal of honor, awarding them for their great thinking, and courage to bust their co-detective.
