Top 10 Cupcake Flavors, and why<\/p>\n

10. Vanilla \u2013 Some of you may think it\u2019s a bit boring,
\nbut vanilla is number 10 because it comes in many
\nbranched flavors: vanilla bean, French vanilla, ect. It
\nis also one of the common flavors in various candies,
\npastries, cakes, and other sweet things. It also takes a
\nlong and complicated process to make vanilla extract.<\/p>\n

9. Pumpkin \u2013 Pumpkin cupcakes are number 9, because
\nthey are REALLY popular during fall and winter months.
\nAnother reason, is because you can put pumpkin
\nflavoring in just about anything ranging from pie to
\nbeer.<\/p>\n

8. Banana \u2013 Unusual, yes, but banana cupcakes are
\nnumber 8 because they are surprisingly popular, and go
\nextremely well with a variety of frostings and icings.<\/p>\n

7. Coffee \u2013 Ah, coffee, some people couldn\u2019t live without
\nit! Coffee cupcakes are number 7, because coffee just
\nabout goes with anything sweet, so that means there
\nare a whole lot frostings you can put on top of it. It also
\nmakes sense to even have a coffee cupcake, after all,
\nthere is coffee ice cream, cakes, candies, and more!<\/p>\n

6. Chocolate \u2013 Just about everyone loves this flavor!
\nChocolate cupcakes are number 6 because there are<\/p>\n

many, many different types of chocolate, like white,
\ndark, milk, semisweet, and more. Did you know that
\nchocolate gives the brain a feeling of pleasure?<\/p>\n

5. Lemon \u2013 Surprising, but lemon is number 5, because
\nit has an unusual combination: A little sour, sweet,
\nand tart at the same time! It also mainly uses a sweet
\nfrosting.<\/p>\n

4. Peanut Butter \u2013 Yes, I\u2019m still coming up with strange
\npopular cupcake flavors, but peanut butter is number
\n4, because it has actually become quite popular in the
\nlast couple of years. It also is not to sweet, so it can have
\nsweeter toppings or icings.<\/p>\n

3. Carrot Cake \u2013 Probably the most bizarre of all
\ncupcakes here, but carrot cake is number 3, because
\ncarrots have actually are mainly used in a lot of
\nEuropean sweets. (Well, actually, in the European
\nmiddle ages) Carrots also have the most sugar in them
\nout of all vegetables! Carrot cupcakes go well with a
\ncream cheese frosting. (You could also eat them plain!)<\/p>\n

2. Red Velvet \u2013 Red Velvet is number 2, because it is
\none of the most widely known and delicious cupcakes!
\nPlus, it is not too sweet, so you can top it off with a nice
\ncream cheese frosting, or maybe vanilla.<\/p>\n

1. Chocolate and vanilla \u2013 Let\u2019s face, nearly everyone<\/p>\n

likes either chocolate or vanilla! They are old time
\nclassics, and can go with just about any topping!
\nNow that I have finished with my extremely long
\ncupcake flavor list, I took a survey with the same flavors
\nat Wayland Middle School (WMS) to see which ones
\npeople liked:<\/p>\n
