About

The Orange and Black Newspaper is a production of Wayland Middle School Students.

What we do:
In the Newspaper Club, we write articles about events and interesting things that we find on the Internet. If that doesn’t appeal to you, we also like to post new poems, and drawings on the homepage for everyone to see. Interested now? If you want to join us, contact Lori_DiGisi@waylandps.org. We always accept new members to the team. Maybe one of your own drawings or articles will be featured on the Newspaper Club homepage someday.

We meet every Thursday from 3:30-4:15 in room 138 – Mr. Fernandez’s room. Come join us!

Advisor:
Lori DiGisi

History:
The Orange and Black Newspaper was founded by Graeme Robinson in 2004 as the Wayland Middle School’s first newspaper.  It was been advised for a number of years by Joe Rich.  Ms. DiGisi took over the club for the 2021-2022 school year. She collaborates with Ms. Duesterberg on Young Author’s club so that there are places for all kinds of writers!
