Have you noticed that work in the parking lot is pretty slow? You might also think that the job is done, but is it? Things have been very quiet down there, a bit too quiet. There are no trucks there, no nothing. We might never know if they will come back to it. People really think that they should consider making a track for the cross country team to practice on. We have a team, even though the season is over, but it would cost $300,000-$1,200,000. Even if they don’t do that, there are many good reasons that they should not. They also could just make it a better looking car drop off/ pickup overflow loop than it already is, but it would need a lot more life to do that.
Then it happened, there is actually a little info on the parking lot from google. It was actually a public works garage. Then they made a new facility on river road. Then an idea came up of making a new library facility but that idea was thrown down the drain. But to this day the parking lot is adjacent to the Wayland Middle school, but the parking lot might never be completed.
