By: Sunjae Lee, Sarah Tully, and Simrun Virkud

1.How are you liking working at the middle school?

Ms Reynolds: I like it. I like the students and the Wayland community. I feel very welcome here. I like the calendar sales and I like that everyone goes on the field trips in Wayland.

2.Are you going to be working at the middle school after Ms.Naughton comes back?

Ms. Reynolds: I would love to be able to stay, but at the moment, there is no open position.

3.What other schools have you worked at before this?

Ms. Reynolds: I did a long term substitute job at Wilson middle school in Natick. I also taught 15 years of 7th grade in Vermont, before I moved to Massachusetts.

4.How is Wayland middle school different to other schools you have taught to?

Ms. Reynolds: It’s different because the students have many more freedoms. For example, Wayland students wear hats in the classrooms. Also, there are long passing times and scheduled breaks in the day.

5.What other subjects have you taught before this?

I have also taught english and life science. I have never taught elementary school or high school.

6. Will you be sad to leave Ms. Naughtons classes?

Yes, very sad. I am loving it here. All the kids are so well behaved. I will miss teaching because I like it so much.

7. How do you like the environment here

I love the technology here, with the computers and the projector. I also like the open areas, so that everyone can interact with everyone else casually. I like that there are separate wings, for each grade. I love the six laptop carts so that multiple teachers can have carts all at once. Everyone seems very happy, and everyone is always smiling.
