My favorite holiday is Christmas, and what’s better than a snowman that talks right? I mean Frosty the snowman is the best! The movie Frosty the Snowman is about a living snowman with a magic hat. In the movie there’s a little girl that is struggling to escape a greedy magician who is after the snowman’s magic hat! The movie was written in 1950 and first aired on December 7, 1969. Jackie Vernon was the voice of Frosty. Frosty the Snowman was a Christmas song that was made popular by Gene Autry in 1949. This was a follow up song to his former year holiday hit, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. The delightful Christmas tune went on to inspire a 27 minute Christmas show called, Frosty the Snowman. The television program was intended for children, but many people both young and old enjoyed it. Jackie Vernon Died on November 10, 1987. I hope that you listened to the song, movie, and TV show!
