The snowflakes fall, tumbling to the ground, on cold winter days. The children play, throwing snowballs, on cold winter days. The fires sputter, scattering sparks above, on cold winter days. The birds huddle, on the telephone wires, on cold winter days. Meanwhile, I stay inside, and watch all this happen, on cold winter days.
