No longer are friends the animals hibernating
and the flowers have said hello
the cold is gone
warm has made itself at home
Sitting happily on the flower throne
we all break out our t-shirts
and maybe even some shorts
grab your bike
go for a ride
take a walk
don’t stay inside
we’re glad you came
winter was quite cranky
but that’s none of our concern now frankly
