This month we are recommending 4 books.

1.The Last Musketeer by Stuart Gibbs

When Greg and his family are teleported back in time, his parents are put in prison for something they didn’t do. La Mort Triste is the place his parents are imprisoned in-the worst prison around. Can Greg get his parents out before they run out of time?

2. The Magic Misfits by Neil Patrick Harris

The magic misfits is about a group of kids and MAGIC. The story is told from the point of view of a boy named Carter. Carter’s parents died and his uncle Sly takes care of him. But Sly isn’t exactly a good role model. It is for that very reason Carter meets Lila, Ridley, Theo, Izzy, Olly, and even a bunch of his dad’s old friends. Together the magic misfits try to stop BAD forces within their town. There are 4 books in the series, and each book is told by a different person from the magic misfits group.

3. The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin 

The Westing Game is a complicated mystery woven throughout the book. It’s a race to win the inheritance of a rich millionaire who died in his mansion. Sunset Towers overlooks Lake Michigan and the Westing mansion, and all the tenants of Sunset Towers are contestants in this race. In the midst of all this there is a bomber, a bookie and a mistake. Who will reach the finish line first? 

4. Fish In A Tree by Lynda Mullaly Hunt

Ally has trouble reading, and she has been able to hide it in every new school she’s been to by creating distractions. When a new teacher starts teaching her class, Ally isn’t sure what to do – he seems to see the real personality hiding inside her. Soon, Ally is gaining confidence. She finally feels free to be herself among her classmates. Follow Ally as she progresses in this heartwarming story.
